DWC III - Registration

To register for the third edition of the Diplomacy World Cup, simply go to AQMN and sign up using your Facebook account, or your email address.

This is the third edition of the Diplomacy World Cup. The first two were played on the www.stabbeurfou.org site, with France winning the first and Ireland the second.

Just like the Soccer World Cup, this tournament is a contest between national teams. Ultimately the aim is to find the best Diplomacy-playing nation. The tournament has a Charter and works on the basis of host sites bidding to stage the tournament. The World Cup is run by a World Cup Council, which votes on amendments to the charter and oversees the running of each tournament.

You can listen to Chris Babcock, the Tournament Director for DWCIII, talking about the tournament at Diplomacy Cast.

In this edition of The Cup, teams are made up of at least seven players, but since only players who qualify for the finals may advance, and to qualify you need to solo, the advantage goes to bigger teams. So, spread the word, and register today!
